About the Role Mint Health + Drugs seeks a Licensed Practical Nurse to join our dynamic and growing team. In this role, you'll support and collaborate with a dedicated group of healthcare professionals, ensuring exceptional customer care and adhering to all regulatory requirements. Benefits • Health and Dental benefits • Life Insurance, Long term Disability and AD&D • Health spending account • Education Allowance • Paid vacation and personal days • RRSP matching • Employee discounts • Great Team Environment with Growth Opportunities • Free On-site Parking • Weekends Off Education & Qualifications • Active registration and valid practice permit • Graduate of an accredited Licensed Practical Nursing program • 1 year experience practicing as an LPN, home health service delivery preferred. • Enhanced Criminal Record Check • A valid Class 5 driver's licence with a clean driving record Key Responsibilities • Assist with patient assessments and monitor health status • Administer injections for flu and travel vaccines • Administer medications and treatments as prescribed • Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records • Educate patients on health management and treatment plans • Ensure compliance with safety and regulatory requirements • Collaborate with healthcare professionals to develop care plans • Care coordination between care providers, facility staff, and pharmacy team • Address patient questions and concerns • Daily witnessed dosing of Opioid Agonist Therapy • Nursing assessment for signs of intoxication and/or withdrawal symptoms • Administration of monthly injections such as insulin, Abilify, Invega • Provide exceptional customer service and care Experience & Skills • Experience with patient assessments • Working knowledge in related field • Familiarization with technology • Experience in addiction & mental health fields is an asset • Community health LPN, Home Care LPN, or similar experience is an asset • Strong organizational and time management skills • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities • Detail-oriented with a focus on accuracy in patient care • Familiarity with regulatory compliance standards in AB Please apply directly through the link provided in this posting.
