Licensed Mental Health Counselor – Adolescent & Trauma Focus Location: 4251 Kipling St, Wheat Ridge, CO 80033 - Cornerstone Christian Counseling License : Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) or Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) Position Type: Part-Time* to start, with a willingness to move towards full-time hours *Please note that a part-time caseload can typically take three or more months to build. About the Role We are seeking an experienced and licensed Christ-centered therapist who is highly trained and specializes in working with adolescents, teens and adults . The therapist who fills this position must also have formal training, and be working towards certification, in IFS, EMDR and/or BSP . This role is for in-person sessions at our beautiful office in Wheat Ridge, CO. At Cornerstone, a part-time caseload can take three-six months to build. The below outlines the requirements, preferences and expectations for our clinicians. Required: • Active CO license: LPC or LMFT (pre-licensed clinicians will not be considered) • Formal training and working towards certification in at least one of the following: IFS, BSP, EMDR • A strong Christian faith and ability to integrate faith-based approaches in therapy • Experience and passion for working with adolescents, teens and adults with trauma • Alignment with Cornerstone’s Mission, Vision, and Statement of Faith Strongly Preferred: • Additional training in other evidence-based and trauma informed modalities • Training in working with adolescents and/or children • Experience working with neurodivergent clients Your Commitment: • Weekly group supervision attendance (Wednesdays, 9-11am MT) • Willingness to commit to at least two weeknight evening blocks or one weeknight evening and one Saturday block per week • A minimum schedule availability of 15 hours/week, filling 80% of that schedule weekly, with a willingness to increase hours as your caseload fills • Attend ongoing training and pursue specialization and certifications • Build long-term client relationships (averaging 10+ sessions per client) Apply Now Ready to use your gifts, training and experience to bring healing and hope?
