Description
Our client is a well-established Water Hygiene and Legionella Compliance company providing specialist compliance services across commercial, healthcare, education, industrial and public sector sites. Due to continued growth, they are looking to recruit an experienced Legionella Risk Assessor / Water Hygiene Engineer to join their expanding team. This is a varied hybrid role, combining Legionella Risk Assessments with Water Hygiene compliance duties, offering an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys a diverse workload. The Role • Carry out Legionella Risk Assessments in accordance with ACOP L8 and HSG274 guidance • Conduct Water Hygiene monitoring and compliance tasks • TMV inspections, servicing and replacements • Water sampling and temperature monitoring • Tank inspections, cleaning and disinfection • Showerhead descales and disinfection • Flushing of little-used outlets • Produce accurate risk assessment reports and compliance documentation • Advise clients on remedial actions and compliance requirements • Ensure all work is completed to a high standard whilst delivering excellent customer service Coverage Area The role is primarily based across the North West , covering areas including: • Liverpool • Manchester • Cheshire • Lancashire There will also be work across the North East, including Newcastle, with occasional travel into the Central Belt of Scotland (typically once or twice per year). Engineers generally stay away from home 4–5 nights per month, although this will vary depending on contract requirements.
