Description Strategic Legal Practices is seeking a detail-oriented and highly organized Legal Scheduling Supervisor to join our litigation team. This role is primarily focused on scheduling and managing depositions, coordinating with opposing counsel, and serving as a key point of contact for clients throughout the litigation process. The ideal candidate has a strong understanding of deposition procedures and litigation scheduling, excellent interpersonal and communication skills, and the ability to manage competing priorities in a fast-paced environment. Key Responsibilities Schedule and coordinate depositions, including securing dates with opposing counsel, booking court reporters, arranging videographers, and reserving conference rooms or remote platforms Draft, send, and track deposition notices, subpoenas, and stipulations in compliance with applicable California rules and deadlines Serve as primary point of contact for clients regarding deposition scheduling, preparation logistics, and status updates throughout the litigation process Communicate professionally and promptly with opposing counsel to confirm deposition logistics, negotiate scheduling conflicts, and follow up on outstanding matters Calendar and monitor all deposition dates, discovery deadlines, and related litigation milestones to ensure nothing falls through the cracks Coordinate the ordering and distribution of deposition transcripts and exhibits, and maintain organized deposition files for attorney review Maintain organized and accurate case files, deposition logs, and correspondence records Track deposition scheduling status, confirmations, and follow-up items across multiple active cases simultaneously Handle client inquiries with professionalism and empathy, keeping them informed of deposition dates, expectations, and next steps Assist attorneys and paralegals with preparation of deposition outlines, exhibits, and related correspondence Support overall case management to ensure depositions and discovery milestones stay on schedule Train and facilitate ongoing training for deposition legal assistants and case managers, including onboarding new team members on deposition workflows, scheduling procedures, and communication protocols Work cross-functionally with attorneys and opposing counsel to align on scheduling priorities, logistics, and case strategy requirements Triage and prioritize competing scheduling demands across a high-volume caseload, identifying gaps in the deposition calendar and proactively resolving conflicts before they impact case timelines Recognize when matters require escalation and communicate urgent issues to attorneys, leadership, or decision-makers in a timely and organized manner Lead and oversee the administrative legal team supporting deposition operations, providing direction, quality control, and day-to-day supervision Requirements Qualifications Prior experience in a law firm or litigation environment with direct exposure to deposition scheduling, discovery coordination, and opposing counsel communication Working knowledge of California deposition rules, civil discovery procedures, and applicable court rules Strong organizational skills with the ability to triage priorities, identify scheduling gaps, and resolve conflicts acro
