Legal Receptionist Location: Greystones, Co. Wicklow Job Type: Full-Time, Permanent Salary: €32,000 - €34,000 per annum (depending on experience) About the Role We are seeking a professional, friendly, and highly organised Receptionist to join our busy legal practice based in our Greystones office. This is a front-of-house position and a key role within the firm, acting as the first point of contact for clients both in person and over the phone. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing a high volume of incoming calls across both our Greystones and Sandyford offices through an integrated phone system. In addition to reception duties, the role will involve meeting room coordination and providing general administrative support to the team as required. Key Responsibilities Reception & Client Services Serve as the first point of contact for clients, visitors, and external stakeholders. Greet and assist walk-in clients in a professional and welcoming manner. Manage front-of-house operations to ensure a positive client experience. Handle client enquiries and direct them appropriately. Telephone Management Manage a high volume of incoming and outgoing calls across both the Greystones and Sandyford offices. Transfer calls efficiently and accurately to the appropriate team members. Take detailed messages and relay information promptly. Monitor and respond to general office telephone enquiries. Meeting Room Coordination Manage the scheduling and availability of two meeting rooms. Prepare meeting rooms for client appointments and internal meetings. Coordinate refreshments and room setup where required. Administrative Support Provide general administrative assistance to legal and support staff when capacity allows. Assist with filing, scanning, photocopying, and document management. Handle incoming and outgoing post and courier deliveries. Maintain reception and common areas to a high professional standard. Support ad hoc office administration projects as required. Skills & Experience Required Previous experience in a receptionist, front-of-house, customer service, or administrative role. Experience within a legal, professional services, financial services, or similar office environment is advantageous. Excellent telephone manner and communication skills. Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritise effectively in a busy environment. Strong organisational and time management skills. Professional appearance and approach. Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, including Outlook, Word, and Excel. High level of accuracy and attention to detail. Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
