The position requires careful review of legal explanations, issue-spotting exercises, case analyses, statutory interpretations, research summaries, procedural guidance, contractual reasoning, and responses involving jurisdiction-sensitive questions. The successful candidate will detect unsupported conclusions, incorrect legal principles, weak issue analysis, unreliable citations, jurisdictional confusion, excessive certainty, and inadequate risk warnings. The role also includes guiding trainers and reviewers, maintaining project documentation, supporting onboarding, and improving scalable legal quality workflows. Key Responsibilities * Review legal AI training items against detailed project rubrics and documented quality requirements. * Evaluate legal reasoning, issue spotting, analytical structure, clarity, source handling, formatting, and instruction compliance. * Assess whether legal conclusions are supported by the relevant facts, authorities, and stated assumptions. * Identify missing legal issues, incorrect rule statements, weak application of law, and unsupported conclusions. * Check whether jurisdiction-specific differences are recognized and explained appropriately. * Review statutes, regulations, case references, citations, and secondary sources for relevance and accurate use. * Flag fabricated, unverifiable, incomplete, or misleading legal authorities. * Assess whether AI-generated responses distinguish general legal information from formal legal advice. * Identify overconfident statements, inadequate qualifications, missing limitations, and insufficient risk warnings. * Review legal research summaries, contractual interpretations, procedural explanations, and compliance-related content. * Evaluate trainer and QA submissions for consistency with project-specific legal review standards. * Provide precise written feedback describing the issue, its significance, and the required correction. * Escalate recurring, critical, or high-risk legal quality problems to project stakeholders. * Communicate new guidelines, workflow changes, and legal review expectations through Discord and other collaboration systems. * Answer contributor questions involving legal interpretation, jurisdiction, citations, research methods, risk, and rubric application. * Contact inactive trainers and QAs, encourage participation, document follow-ups, and flag availability concerns. * Create and maintain legal style guides, FAQs, trackers, quality notes, reference examples, honeypots, calibration tasks, and onboarding materials. * Conduct remote onboarding and training sessions for legal trainers, reviewers, and QAs. * Ensure contributors apply updated legal review standards consistently as projects evolve. * Analyze recurring quality gaps and recommend practical improvements to legal AI review workflows. * Maintain organized records of quality findings, contributor feedback, performance trends, and corrective actions.
