Legal Executive Annual Salary: To be discussed Location: Hybrid (Minimum 3 days in office) Job Type: Full-time We are seeking a motivated Legal Executive to join our Casualty team, a cohesive group known for their supportive and dynamic work environment. Day-to-day of the role: Maintain accurate and organised file management systems to ensure efficient case handling support. Attend court with instructed counsel to assist with the progression of matters on the day. Proactively monitor case progress, identifying key deadlines, upcoming motions, and trial preparation requirements. Draft correspondence to clients, opposing solicitors, and third parties. Draft pleadings and other court documents for lodgement in the High Court and Commercial Court. Prepare matters for hearing, including compiling and organising court booklets and trial bundles. Draft briefs for counsel and assist with case strategy and hearing preparation. Support the day-to-day case management. Liaise directly with counsel. Assist with client communication and ensure a high standard of client service is maintained throughout the lifecycle of each file. Handle Personal Injuries Resolution Board applications to progress matters. Prepare and submit Statement of Recoverable Benefits application forms to gain access to relevant information. Manage and review discovery documentation received by other side and clients for the purpose of assessing discoverability. Organise medical appointments to assess the Plaintiffs claims. Communicate with Engineers to organise inspections. Arrange consultations concerning liability or pre-trial preparation. Contribute to billing narratives, cost tracking, and overall matter management. Attend on Counsel at motions and hearings. Required Skills & Qualifications: Previous experience working in Litigation, particularly Defendant Injury work. Exceptional attention to detail and the ability to work under pressure. Strong organizational and communication skills. Proficiency in legal research and using case management software. Ability to work both independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment. Capability to adapt to any changes within the Team. Experience including insurance and litigation is desirable. Strong knowledge of the Irish legal system is advantageous.
