Job Purpose: The Legal Counsel will be responsible for providing expert legal advice, ensuring regulatory compliance, and mitigating legal risks. Candidates with experience in the logistics or instant delivery field are preferred. Key Responsibilities: • Draft, review, and negotiate a wide range of contracts including vendor agreements, service-level agreements (SLAs), lease contracts, and partnership agreements. • Provide legal guidance on business operations, especially relating to logistics, transportation, warehousing, and last-mile delivery services. • Ensure the company's compliance with local, regional, and international laws including labor, commercial, data privacy, and trade regulations. • Support HR with employment law issues, employee disputes, and policy compliance. • Advise internal departments on risk management and contract execution. • Handle any litigation or legal disputes in coordination with external legal advisors. • Monitor changes in regulations relevant to the logistics and delivery sector and communicate updates to stakeholders. • Assist with licensing, permits, and legal documentation required for smooth logistics operations. • Ensure that the company’s operations and contracts are aligned with industry-specific standards and best practices. Qualifications: • Bachelor’s degree in Law (LLB); Master’s is a plus. • Minimum 4 years of post-qualification legal experience. • Bar admission/license to practice law. • Experience in logistics or delivery industry preferred. • Strong command of commercial, corporate, and labor law. • Fluent in English and Arabic (if applicable).
