Apply now and do your part in bringing extraordinary music experiences to people’s lives! ** Join Us ** Job Description The Legal & Business Affairs team sits within Deezer's Music Industry Relations department and serves as a strategic partner to the entire organization. Our team is responsible for securing Deezer's commercial activities, managing legal risks, and ensuring regulatory compliance across all markets. We work with all business divisions — from Partnerships, Product & Tech, Marketing and Music Licensing to Finance and IT team — providing expert legal guidance to support Deezer's growth and operations. Within the Legal & Business Affairs team, you will join the Partnerships, Product & Privacy division, a team of 3 people, reporting to the team manager & DPO in charge of Partnerships, Product & Privacy. You will be responsible for providing end-to-end legal support to Deezer's Partnerships and Product & Tech operational teams, managing a broad range of commercial contracts, and ensuring that Deezer's service and product remains compliant with applicable regulations worldwide, such as the EU GDPR, AI Act, DSA, Data Act etc. What you will do: Drafting, reviewing, and negotiating a wide range of commercial and IT agreements, including notably distribution agreements, SaaS and outsourcing agreements. Acting as legal point of contact for the Partnerships team and the Product & Tech team, whether on contractual or compliance matters (general advice, risk assessments...etc). Monitoring, analyzing and implementing regulatory developments affecting Deezer’s product at both French and European levels, as well as in other key markets, with an emphasis on data protection. Maintaining and updating internal legal documentation, including improving legal processes, drafting or updating contract templates and populating the legal team’s knowledge base. Qualifications Master's degree (Bac+5) in new technologies, contract, data protection or Intellectual property law or equivalent. 1 to 2 years of professional experience post-internship, ideally gained in a tech company on related matters or within a law firm’s IT or commercial practice. Solid foundation in technology sector regulations, contract law; knowledge of competition / distribution law is a plus. Full professional proficiency in both French and English (written and spoken) is required. Proactive and solution-oriented, with strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously; comfortable working cross-functionally with non-legal stakeholders.
