Learning Support Assistant Location: Birmingham Duration: Full time, on going Salary: £85 – £95 per day The School/role: We are currently looking for an experienced learning support assistant who can take on a full-time on-going job role in a fantastic SEMH school in Birmingham. The school strives to provide the best quality teaching and learning with an inclusive and personalised curriculum. They are passionate about preparing students for life and supporting them to achieve their personal goal. This is a full-time learning support assistant post and will run until the end of the academic year. This will require patience, commitment and the ability to provide a safe and welcoming learning environment. The team within the school are very supportive and will help you along the way. Requirements: • Qualified Teaching Assistant OR Relevant SEN Background • PECS and Makaton training/experience • ASD, SLD, Complex needs – Non verbal needs experience • Level 1 safeguarding certificate • Recent school based references • Valid Photo ID – Driving Licence or passport • Full DBS – on the update service
