As a Learning & Skills Assessor you will be responsible for:Enrolling new apprentices onto the apprentice programmeUndertaking Progress Reviews with apprentices and employersLiaising with the college’s Technical Training TeamHelping apprentices’ mentors to understand their role in the learning journeyKeeping KPIs compliant against the apprenticeship funding rules and accountability frameworkDeveloping employer relations and some business development activitySupporting with assessments in the workplaceWhat you’ll bringYou will be a dynamic and forward-thinking person able to provide high quality support to both apprentices and employers.As a Learning & Skills Assessor you will:Be an exceptional communicator, capable of engaging with individuals at all levels, including apprentices, mentors, employers and colleaguesBe well organised as you will need to manage your own diary and caseload of apprenticesBe able to work collaboratively with colleagues and clients to deliver an outstanding learning experienceHave a good level of ICT with knowledge of Microsoft 365 and OneFile a distinct advantageHave a good eye for detail as you will need to ensure Apprenticeship funding rules are followedHave completed a Level 3 Motorcycle/Light Vehicle Qualification or have relevant industry experienceHold CAVA/A1/D32 D33, V1/D34, AET/PTLLS or be willing to work towardsHold a full UK Driving Licence and own car/motorcycleOur Ideal CandidateOur ideal candidate will have an active interest in the motorcycle industry and a good understanding of the sector.We are looking for someone that will be able to inspire, guide and support motorcycle apprentices to achieve their goals and qualifications.For further details on this post which the job description and person specification cannot answer for you, please contact Paul Slater, Head of Apprenticeships (Automotive) on [email protected] / Assessments are planned for: 12th August 2026Why Join usCompetitive salary – £29,390 to £33,602 per annum FTE.
