Your impact As a Lead Site Reliability Engineer, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the reliability, scalability, and performance of OpenText's hosted cloud applications and platforms. You will drive operational excellence across complex production environments, lead cloud infrastructure initiatives, support critical deployments and migrations, and champion automation and resiliency best practices. Your expertise will directly influence service stability, client satisfaction, and the successful delivery of cloud-based solutions. What the role offers Opportunity to lead cloud operations and site reliability initiatives across enterprise-scale environments Ownership of cloud platform architecture, automation, deployment, and operational excellence Exposure to cutting-edge technologies including Kubernetes, Terraform, GCP, AWS, Cloud Foundry, and DevOps toolchains Collaboration with Product Development, Professional Services, Client Support, and Engineering teams globally Hands-on involvement in cloud migrations, disaster recovery planning, and production incident management A dynamic environment where you can drive continuous improvement, innovation, and platform resiliency What you need to succeed Several years of experience supporting cloud applications, platforms, and enterprise infrastructure, with a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field Strong expertise in DevOps and cloud technologies including GCP, AWS, Kubernetes, Terraform, CI/CD pipelines, and infrastructure as code Experience automating operational processes using tools and scripting languages such as Ansible, Chef, Puppet, Python, Go, Bash, or PowerShell Deep understanding of Linux administration, containerized deployments, virtualization, cloud architecture, monitoring, and high-availability platforms Proven experience managing production incidents, root cause analysis, disaster recovery activities, and 24x7 operational support environments Excellent communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills with the ability to prioritize work and collaborate effectively across teams One last thing OpenText is more than just a corporation; it's a global community where trust is foundational, the bar is raised, and outcomes are owned. #LI-GM1 OpenText's efforts to build an inclusive work environment go beyond simply complying with applicable laws.
