We’re Australia’s leading young university and consistently sit within the top 100 universities globally — a reflection of the scale of our ambition and the contribution of our people.
When you join UTS, you become part of a community that values inclusion, supports access to education, and works towards positive change in society.
UTS is strengthening our advancement program as part of an exciting period of renewal and growth.
With a clear aspiration to deepen alumni and philanthropic engagement and build enduring, values led relationships, the Alumni & Philanthropy Unit (APU) is reimagining its structure, refreshing the way they work, and rebuilding a number of roles.
The Lead, Prospect Strategy & Research will be a critical enabler of fundraising activity and performance, providing leadership in informing philanthropic fundraising performance at UTS through advanced prospect insight, portfolio strategy and data driven planning.
Reporting to the Head of Advancement Systems and Service, the role shapes institution wide approaches to prospective donor identification, research, engagement and pipeline planning to support the University’s philanthropic and engagement priorities. It equips those engaging in philanthropic relationship building with the intelligence, frameworks and performance insights required to deliver outcomes at scale.
Working in close partnership with senior Alumni & Philanthropy leaders, the role ensures prospect strategy drives sustainable philanthropic growth for UTS. The position has formal supervisory responsibilities for a small team of prospect research and planning specialists.
As the successful candidate you will be someone who adapts and responds to change, interprets vision and purpose, acts strategically, achieves results, is able to self reflect, enhance team effectiveness, apply perspective and be goal-oriented.
