Job Summary We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Lead HVAC Technician to spearhead our heating, ventilation, and air conditioning (HVAC) service operations. In this vital role, you will lead a team of skilled technicians, oversee complex HVAC projects, and ensure the highest standards of maintenance, repair, and installation across diverse property types. Your mechanical expertise, leadership skills, and technical knowledge will drive efficiency, safety, and customer satisfaction in every task you undertake. Duties • Lead and mentor a team of HVAC service technicians, assigning tasks and ensuring quality workmanship • Diagnose and troubleshoot HVAC systems using schematics, technical manuals, and diagnostic tools such as ohmmeters • Oversee installation and repair of HVAC equipment including air conditioning units, boilers, refrigeration systems—including ammonia refrigeration—and plumbing components • Interpret HVAC design plans and schematics to execute projects accurately and efficiently • Conduct field service operations for maintenance, repairs, and system upgrades across commercial or industrial properties • Perform welding, equipment repair, and mechanical adjustments to ensure optimal system performance • Maintain detailed documentation of service activities, inspections, and repairs for compliance and quality assurance Requirements • Proven experience as a service technician with strong construction background in HVAC systems • Extensive knowledge of HVAC/R (refrigeration) systems, including ammonia refrigeration and boiler operations • Ability to read schematics and interpret HVAC design plans accurately • Mechanical knowledge spanning plumbing, appliance repair, welding, and equipment maintenance • Field service experience with property maintenance or commercial building systems • Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record; experience operating drivers preferred • Familiarity with Ohmmeters for electrical troubleshooting and diagnostic testing • Strong leadership skills with previous experience supervising or leading technical teams • Certifications in HVAC/R or related fields are highly desirable Join us to be at the forefront of building comfort solutions!
