Job Advertisement: Lead E&I Engineer - Senior Location:  Remote / Gijón, Spain Contract Type: Temporary (initially through end of 2025) Start Date: As soon as possible Role Overview: We are seeking an experienced Electrical & Instrumentation Lead Engineer to oversee the design, development, and commissioning of electrical systems and instrumentation for a state-of-the-art electric car battery component factory. The role includes managing scope, budget, and quality for assigned technology packages while ensuring seamless integration into overall project goals. Key Responsibilities: Lead the engineering team in designing, testing, and commissioning electrical and instrumentation systems. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive project execution. Develop maintenance and reliability programs. Ensure compliance with safety and environmental standards. Conduct feasibility studies and risk assessments. Qualifications and Skills: Master’s degree in Electrical/Instrumentation Engineering or related field. 7+ years in E&I engineering, preferably in automotive or battery manufacturing. Expertise in electrical circuits, PLCs, SCADA systems, and instrumentation devices. Strong leadership and project management skills. Fluent in Spanish and English. Additional Details: Remote work possible with site visits as needed. Travel (10%) required, primarily within Spain. Long-term collaboration envisioned. Benefits: Market-level compensation for Spain.
