About us We are a social housing landlord and one of the largest housing providers in the region with over 22,000 social and affordable homes, mainly in the Bradford district. Our purpose is to provide high quality homes, services, and support to our customers, so we’ve worked with colleagues and customers to find out what’s important to them. Our customers sit at the heart of what we do, and our colleagues are the people who’ll help us achieve our vision, which is to create the best customer experience to improve everyday lives. Duties include: Carry out green landscaping works, including grass cutting and edging, shrub, bush, and hedge cutting as well as clearance of overgrown areas impacting visibility, access, or safety. Install, repair, and maintain fencing and boundary features, including fence panels, posts, and gates, boundary lines between properties, simple boundary edging and demarcation. Assist with small retaining walls and level adjustments, including supporting construction, repair, or stabilisation of low retaining walls, making safe changes to garden levels where required and helping to manage transitions between different ground heights. Work closely with a Groundworker on minor external works such as Paths, paving, and access routes, external steps and level changes, Low walls and small retaining structures. Prepare and tidy work areas, ensuring surfaces and boundaries are left safe, stable, and compliant. Support works that improve drainage, access, and safe movement within gardens. Identify, reduce, and report HHSRS hazards, particularly uneven or unstable ground levels, trip hazards along paths and boundaries, falls from height risks caused by level changes, retaining walls, or exposed edges. Safely use and maintain all tools, including but not limited to powered gardening equipment, hand tools for fencing and groundworks and any construction tools used for small walls and level works. Participate in risk assessments and toolbox talks as required.
