Description
At Obrela, we deliver real-time, risk-aligned cybersecurity services that enable organizations to detect, investigate, and respond to cyber threats while maintaining a business-focused approach to security. We are looking for an L1 Cyber Security Analyst to join our Security Operations Center (SOC). In this role, you will contribute to the monitoring and analysis of security events, supporting the identification and initial investigation of security incidents while working alongside experienced cybersecurity professionals. This position is well suited to candidates looking to begin or further develop their career in Security Operations. Key Responsibilities Monitor and analyze security events using leading SIEM technologies. Perform real-time event and log analysis to identify potential security incidents. Conduct first-level investigation and triage of security alerts. Escalate incidents to Level 2 Analysts in accordance with established procedures. Accurately document investigations and support the incident management process. Follow operational guidelines and contribute to maintaining the quality of SOC services. Requirements Ability to work on a rotational 24x7x365 shift schedule. Understanding of common attack techniques targeting applications, systems, and networks. Knowledge of TCP/IP networking, Windows and Linux operating systems, and basic network security concepts. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Excellent written and verbal communication skills in both Greek and English. A willingness to learn and develop within a Security Operations environment.  Previous experience with SIEM platforms or log analysis is not required but will be considered an advantage. Relevant cybersecurity certifications are considered a plus, including but not limited to CompTIA Security+, Cisco Certified CyberOps Associate, Blue Team Level 1 (BTL1), (ISC)² Certified in Cybersecurity (CC), and other vendor-specific security certifications.
