Description The Kids Corner Aide is responsible for providing a safe, fun, and engaging environment for members' children within the Druid Hills Golf Club childcare center. This role ensures high standards of safety, interaction, and cleanliness while supervising children ranging from 6 months to 12 years of age. Responsibilities: Maintains a strict 1:6 staff-to-child ratio, adhering to the center's maximum capacity cap of 12 children at any given time. Actively engages with and supervises children between the ages of 6 months and 12 years old to ensure a safe and playful environment. Manages the secure check-in and check-out process, ensuring parents or authorized guardians properly sign children in and out of the center. Adheres strictly to all allergy safety protocols and sanitation guidelines to protect the health of all children. Sanitizes toys, equipment, and high-touch surfaces throughout the shift, and completes a thorough clean-up and resetting of the room at the end of each day. Monitors children's behavior and promptly reports any behavioral issues, safety hazards, or operational incidents to the Kids Corner Supervisor. Assists with the execution and programming of youth camps and special kids' club events as needed.
