About the role: The Key Relationship Manager is responsible for driving salon revenue within market leaders/focus accounts and will acquire new market leaders/focus accounts through the implementation of Salon Joint Business Plans, resource management and consistent prospecting.  This position works closely with Education Managers in respective Business Units to maximize sales and education potential.   At Kao, we offer amazing benefits that are available to you on your first day of employment (healthcare, 401(k) plus company match), 36 total days off (vacation + holidays + sick) and a base salary of $78,000 - $88,000 plus bonus and car allowance. The role will cover Texas and Oklahoma. What you will do: Meet with clients regularly (in person and via the phone) to effectively promote the purchase, sell-through and support of KAO USA products, promotions, and programs.      Work with existing accounts to identify opportunity areas for portfolio expansion with Kao Brands. Collaborate with Kao education team to develop and execute a Salon Joint Business Plan.  Work with select sales consultants and identified by those who have current Focus/Market Leader Salons. Identify and establish rapport with the top competitors’ salon customers within assigned territory with the objective to convert customers to KAO USA, Inc.            Successfully utilizes assigned budgets to maintain and grow Focus and Market Leader Accounts.  Presents to Senior Regional Sales Manager a business review showing sales efforts and results consistently (Replenishment, New Product and New Business).          Actively promotes and participates in Kao Salon programs and events to maintain established relationships and cultivate new ones.      What you will need: Bachelor's degree in business, marketing or related field preferred. 5+ years sales experience in consumer goods with previous salon sales experience preferred. Key Account Management: Strategically manages an organization’s most important and high-value clients by understanding their needs. Fosters long term loyalty through the creation and implementation of proactive and tailored solutions that drive mutual success. Strategic Relationship Building:  Able to establish, develop, and maintain long-term partnerships with key stakeholders, leveraging these relationships to drive business objectives, create mutual value, and achieve competitive advantage. Sales Achievement:  Proven track record of consistently meeting or exceeding sales targets and objectives. Collaboration & Coordination: Foster a collaborative environment where departments work together seamlessly, coordinating their efforts to achieve common organizational goals. Technical & Business Acumen:  Utilizes brand and technological resources to support the needs of customers, teammates, and the business. Understands the salon infrastructure, able to identify opportunities and build strategies to support sales. Strong knowledge of Microsoft Suite with the ability to create and properly format documents.  Communication:  Effectively exchange information with customers and colleagues in a professional, concise and clear manner.
