Role Summary We are looking for a commercially driven and strategic Key Account Manager to join our Singapore team. In this role, you will own and grow a portfolio of high-value business accounts, with a strong focus on increasing payment volume, revenue and contribution margin while retaining and strengthening long-term client relationships. You will act as a trusted commercial advisor to our clients, understanding their business needs and identifying opportunities to increase their usage of CardUp's solutions across different payment use cases. You will also identify new business opportunities through referrals, cross-selling and strategic account development. The ideal candidate is highly commercial, data-driven and comfortable engaging senior decision-makers. You should be equally confident in managing existing relationships, negotiating commercial outcomes and proactively creating opportunities for portfolio growth. What You’ll Do Grow & Expand Accounts Own and grow a portfolio of high-value commercial accounts. Develop account plans to increase payment volume, revenue and contribution margin. Identify opportunities to increase customers' share of wallet across CardUp's payment solutions. Identify under-utilised accounts and develop strategies to increase usage and payment volume. Drive cross-sell opportunities across CardUp Make, CardUp Collect and relevant partner solutions. Build Strategic Relationships Build strong, trusted relationships with senior decision-makers and key stakeholders. Understand customers' business models, payment flows, cash flow requirements and commercial priorities. Act as a trusted commercial advisor and proactively recommend solutions that create value for customers. Lead commercial discussions, negotiations and objection handling. Drive Retention & Portfolio Health Monitor account performance and proactively identify risks of declining usage or churn. Develop recovery and reactivation plans for declining or inactive accounts. Identify opportunities to replace lost payment volume and protect revenue. Conduct regular portfolio reviews and take proactive action to improve account performance. Create New Opportunities Identify new business opportunities within existing accounts, through referrals and strategic networks. Manage opportunities from discovery and qualification through negotiation, onboarding and activation. Partner with Sales and Partnerships teams on larger or more complex opportunities. Use Data to Drive Commercial Decisions Analyse account performance, payment volume and profitability to identify growth opportunities. Make commercially sound recommendations around pricing, promotions and account strategy. Maintain accurate pipeline, forecasting and CRM records. Share customer and market insights with internal teams to improve our products and go-to-market strategy.
