About the role
The Key Account Executive at Avena plays a significant role in maintaining and enhancing customer relationships, ensuring satisfaction and retention. Based in Norfolk, within the National Accounts department, this position focuses on strategic customer management, aiming to drive growth and retention through strategic account management, exceptional service and innovative solutions. This role is an opportunity to contribute to Avena's mission of delivering outstanding service and driving customer success.
Key Responsibilities :
• Achieve high sales performance and service excellence.
• Monitor account performance metrics closely, adapting strategies as necessary to meet growth objectives.
• Analyse customer feedback and market trends to identify opportunities for growth and service improvement.
• Strategically manage and grow a portfolio of internal key accounts, achieving specified growth targets.
• Develop and implement customer care strategies to enhance customer satisfaction and retention.
• Develop and execute strategies and plans that support the offering of new products and services within the region.
• Develop tailored account plans based on deep analysis of client needs and potential for expansion.
• Collaborate with internal teams to ensure a cohesive and comprehensive customer experience.
• Foster strong, collaborative relationships with internal stakeholders to ensure alignment of objectives and seamless execution of strategies. The right person for the role:
• Proven experience in customer service or account management, with a strong focus on client care.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build and maintain strong customer relationships.
• Strategic thinker with a data-driven approach to decision making and problem-solving.
• Demonstrated experience in account management and sales, with a proven track record of meeting or exceeding targets.
• Strong analytical skills to identify growth opportunities and challenges within key accounts.
• Excellent communication and negotiation skills, with the ability to engage and influence stakeholders.
• Capable of leading initiatives to drive account growth.
• Experience of CRM software and how it can be used effectively to improve Customer Retention and drive revenue growth.
• Computer Literate, proficient with Microsoft office suite software.
• Available to travel (over 10%)
• Full Clean driving licence.
