Description
We are looking for a young lawyer with enthusiasm for the law, curiosity, and a strong desire to learn and develop, to join our established Wellington Tax team. The role is part of a highly successful national Tax team and works closely with highly respected Tax Partner, Vivian Cheng. The work will involve advice on NZ and cross-border commercial transactions, review and negotiation of transaction documentation, obtaining IRD binding rulings, tax disputes and tax policy submissions. This is a diverse and rewarding role that will suit a strong technical skill set and someone who enjoys collaboration, is solution oriented, and thrives on getting to the bottom of things. We offer the opportunity to collaborate with the national team and other practice areas, as well as accelerated exposure to work and clients from day one in a small, supportive team environment.
