Job Family : Data Science & Analysis Travel Required : None Clearance Required : Ability to Obtain Public Trust What You Will Do : The Junior Specialist Fraud Analytics   Suppo rt   S pe cialist will   suppo rt   fraud analytics   operations , data review, documentation, reporting, and project   suppo rt   activities as part of a multidisciplinary team. This position will apply developing skills in areas of specialization, follow established procedures, adapt tools and templates to meet project needs, and complete   ass igned tasks with specific instructions for new   ass ignments. • Suppo rt   fraud analytics operations, data review, documentation, reporting, and project   suppo rt   activities • Apply developing analytical, reporting, and documentation skills to complete   ass igned tasks and   suppo rt   increasingly complex activities. • Ass ist   with organizing data, preparing draft work products, tracking inputs, updating trackers, and   suppo rt ing recurring project deliverables. • Suppo rt   data cleanup, data review, quality checks, and basic analysis to   identify   trends, issues, and follow-up needs. • Prepare meeting notes, status updates, documentation, analytical summaries, and briefing materials using established templates and guidance. • Follow established processes, procedures, tools, and templates while adapting materials to meet project needs and   special requirements . • Coordinate with team members to request information, clarify   ass ignments, document progress, and   suppo rt   timely   completion of   ass igned work. • Suppo rt   knowledge sharing and operational continuity by documenting steps,   ass umptions, findings, and work products. • Work onsite at the client location in Lanham, Maryland five (5) days per week and collaborate closely with government personnel and contractor team members. What You Will Need : • Ability to obtain and   maintain   a Public Trust clearance. • Bachelor's degree in Data Science , Computer Science, Cybersecurity, Information Systems, Statistics, Mathematics, Engineering, Operations Research, Information Science, Business, or   a related   field. • One (1) or more years of professional experience   suppo rt ing data analysis, fraud analytics, business operations, project   suppo rt , technical documentation, reporting, or   a related   discipline. • Experience   suppo rt ing data review, documentation, reporting, project coordination, research, or preparation of draft work products. • Experience following established procedures, using templates, and completing   ass igned tasks with specific instructions for new   ass ignments. • Experience using Microsoft Word, Microsoft Excel, Microsoft PowerPoint, and other collaboration or productivity tools. • Strong attention to detail and verbal and written communication skills. • Ability and willingness to work onsite at the client location in Lanham, Maryland five (5) days per week. What Would Be Nice To Have : • Exposure to fraud analytics,   investigations   suppo rt , reporting activities, business operations, project coordination, or federal consulting environments. • Experience   suppo rt ing project operations, data preparation, data quality review, reporting, project tracking, or analytical work products. • Experience using Microsoft Office products,   SQL , reporting tools, or   analytics tools such as Python, Power BI, Tableau, or similar technologies . • Experience developing dashboards, trackers, or visualizations using Power BI, Tableau, Spotfire, Microsoft Excel, or similar tools. • Experience   suppo rt ing research, documentation, recurring reporting, stakeholder coordination, or technical writing. • Familiarity with Agile delivery methodologies, collaborative development environments, and federal consulting environments. • Candidate currently   possesses   an active Internal Revenue Service   (IRS)   Moderate Background Investigation clearance or has held one within the last six (6) months. The annual salary range for this position is $65,000.00-$108,000.00. Compensation decisions depend on a wide range of factors, including but not limited to skill sets, experience and training, security clearances, licensure and certifications, and other business and organizational needs.
