Permanent, Temporary and Contract Staff | Think Specialist Recruitment Junior Supply Chain Planner Date Added: 25th April 2018 Hemel Hempstead, Hertfordshire Temporary £15 to £16 Reference: 1096 We have a very exciting opportunity for candidates to join a globally known corporate company on a 2 month contract to provide support to the Supply Planning and ensure the department and availability of products are being managed efficiently. The ideal candidate will be someone that is able to take responsibility for issues and work to resolve them, someone who has worked within a supply, planning or logistics environment and has had some exposure to SAP. The successful candidate will join a very busy and fast paced team and we are looking for candidates that are available immediately for interviews next week with a view to starting shortly after and commit to work on this assignment for the next 2 months or potentially longer. This is a great chance for anyone actively looking for work and experience within such a large corporate company. Duties to include: • Check and upload forecast received from the Forecast Planner into SAP on due dates • Support stock availability in the warehouses for sales • Create and monitor status of purchase orders and ensure data in SAP is up to date to facilitate physical inbound of stock • Facilitate daily warehouse operation by managing production orders • Create and monitor status of stock transfer purchase orders • Support the preparation and analysis of daily and weekly recurring reports and propose action if required. Standard reports include: • Daily stock review • Slow moving stock review • Expiry check review • Purchase Order review • Extract and manipulate shipping data from MS Excel to update SAP with the latest stock inbound dates • Monitor the end to end supply chain (from receiving forecast to delivering to customer) and escalate to manager for action Candidate requirements: • Experience in planning, supply chain or logistics is beneficial • Ability to analyse high volumes of data and come up with relevant supply chain solutions • Ability to take responsibility for issues until solution and taking a step back to proactively come up with proposal for improvements • Good communication skills to liaise with various stakeholders • Good command of MS Excel • Experience in SAP is beneficial We are currently open to applications for this role with interviews due to take place next week, please submit your application and if you feel you match the criteria above and are interested then please feel free to call Bobby on 01442-531-161 and discuss.
