Your Profile Jung von Matt TECH is looking for a Junior Strategist Data & AI (m/f/d) About you • Completed degree in Business Administration, Psychology, Business Informatics, or a comparable qualification • 1–3 years of professional experience, e.g. as a strategist, analyst, or in a related role within an agency or company (career changers welcome) • Fluent German skills (business level) • Strong curiosity and eagerness to learn, with the ability to approach new topics thoughtfully, critically, and analytically • Logical and structured mindset with strong analytical skills and a quick grasp of complex topics • Ability to distinguish relevant insights from noise and translate them into clear recommendations • Strong storytelling and presentation skills, including the ability to create compelling charts and presentations • Confident use of AI tools such as ChatGPT, Claude, and similar LLMs, including effective prompting and a basic understanding of how these systems work • Strong communication skills with the ability to explain technical and data-driven topics in a clear and accessible way • Team-oriented, well organized, and able to independently drive projects while managing multiple priorities simultaneously • Adaptable and comfortable working in interdisciplinary environments at the intersection of strategy, data, and technology • Sound judgment in deciding when AI tools add value and when human thinking, intuition, or conventional methods are the better choice • Ability to act as a translator between technical and non-technical stakeholders - making developer logic accessible to strategists and creative teams, and strategic goals legible to engineers Nice to Have • Basic knowledge of qualitative and quantitative market research methods • Experience with social listening, consumer research, performance marketing, or trend analysis tools • Coding experience, particularly in Python • Experience with automation platforms such as Make, Zapier, or n8n • Experience building AI-powered workflows, agents, or applications The Tasks • Collaborating in interdisciplinary teams on brand communication and strategic projects with a focus on Data & AI • Supporting clients and colleagues in leveraging data and AI to improve marketing effectiveness and efficiency • Bridging strategy and technology by translating strategic requirements into technical solutions and making technical capabilities actionable for strategic thinking • Conducting and advancing strategic disciplines such as target group analysis, market research, social listening, and trend analysis through the use of AI • Exploring emerging topics such as Generative Engine Optimization (GEO), AI-powered marketing, and automation, and translating them into practical use cases • Advising clients on the effective and responsible application of AI and data within marketing and communication • Supporting internal AI initiatives to improve agency-wide effectiveness, efficiency, and innovation • Analyzing markets, audiences, consumer behavior, and trends to generate actionable insights • Preparing and presenting strategic recommendations, workshops, analyses, and decision-making materials • Translating complex topics into clear narratives, compelling presentations, and understandable frameworks • Collaborating closely with strategy, creative, media, technology, and other interdisciplinary teams • Contributing to the development of new methodologies, tools, and ways of working
