Job description Masaï (formerly Cristal Décisions) is an operational consulting firm that supports its clients in optimizing and streamlining their indirect procurement. We carry out more than 200 assignments per year for clients across all sectors (industry, banking, healthcare, retail, luxury, etc.). We are continuing the development of Valensia , our B2B SaaS platform for managing indirect procurement. It covers, for the needs of our clients and consultants, all of the firm’s areas of expertise, notably energy, mobility, and real estate, with a strong CSR dimension. We are looking for a junior product engineer to join the technical teams in Lyon or Boulogne. Main responsibilities: Within Masaï, and under the responsibility of the technical lead, your main tasks will be: • Create new business modules from A to Z on the Valensia platform (Node.js/Express, React, PostgreSQL) using generative AI tools (Claude, Copilot, among others) • Improve existing modules based on client feedback and field needs: new features, bug fixes, performance optimizations • Understand and model various business domains (energy, mobility, real estate, etc.): working closely with consulting team experts to translate business rules, regulatory frameworks, and client needs into software features • Ensure the quality of the produced code: reviews, testing, local verification before deployment • Participate in the full feature lifecycle: specification, development, testing, deployment to staging and production environments (Azure) • Contribute to the continuous improvement of the platform: responsiveness, accessibility, user experience, internationalization (we work for all countries, across all continents) Profile sought You are: • A graduate of an engineering school or a master’s program • Comfortable with programming (JavaScript/TypeScript, SQL) or able to ramp up quickly; able to understand the code you read and produce • Curious and able to learn an unfamiliar business domain (energy, mobility, real estate, etc.) – a key skill for the role • Rigorous and methodical: you test before deploying and verify what AI produces • Comfortable with generative AI tools, or motivated to integrate them into your development workflow • Autonomous, with a desire to take ownership of features end-to-end A plus: an interest in environmental topics, initial full-stack web experience (personal or academic), knowledge of Git/Docker/cloud (Azure, AWS, GCP)
