Description
We are looking for a motivated Junior / Middle Environment Artist to join our team and contribute to a world-famous online multiplayer game set in the iconic post-apocalyptic universe. You will help create and maintain game environments and assets in a semi-realistic visual style. Responsibilities Create and modify 3D assets for game environments. Produce clean and efficient UV layouts for texturing. Bake normal maps and other texture maps using industry-standard workflows. Create and edit textures and materials using Substance Painter. Assemble game locations using existing asset libraries. Modify and improve existing environments based on feedback and project requirements. Set up and adjust basic scene lighting. Collaborate with artists, leads, and production teams to achieve project goals. Follow technical specifications and art guidelines. Requirements Solid understanding of 3D modeling principles (3ds Max experience is preferred). Experience creating UV layouts and preparing assets for texturing. Experience baking textures and maps in 3D software packages. Proficiency in Substance Painter. Experience working with game engines and level editors. Ability to assemble environments using existing assets. Basic knowledge of lighting and scene composition. Understanding of game asset optimization and real-time rendering workflows. Attention to detail and ability to work independently. Intermediate English or higher (ability to communicate with team members and the client ((chat, email, project management tools)), read and understand technical documentation and task descriptions.
