At Apex, you don’t just join a company, you help shape what comes next.   Role Overview:   This role is to provide overarching occupational health and safety expertise through the field of Industrial Hygiene to one of Apex’s most valued clients, a national aerospace manufacturer. Over the last 2 decades Apex has worked hand and hand with the national aerospace manufacturer helping them achieve their Occupational Health and Safety, Ergonomic and Safety Engineering goals.  The incumbent will serve as a Jr-Mid Level Industrial Hygiene contractor at their Wichita, Kansas facility. This role will be a full-time, onsite position. The client has requested 8-hour days, 5 days a week. The initial role is for 3-months with possible extension based on performance.    The incumbent will execute occupational safety and industrial hygiene projects from start to finish. This role will routinely involve; (1) workplace / shop floor industrial hygiene exposure assessments, (2) data management and tracking and through the client’s internal database systems (3) providing deliverables based on the completed assessments, and (4) industrial hygiene program effectiveness evaluations and continuous improvement support.    But, perhaps most importantly, the incumbent will be an energetic self-starter with the ability to work independently  and produce results within budget and timeframe.  Your Responsibilities as an Apex Occupational   Safety  & Industrial Hygiene  Professional : Providing comprehensive occupational safety and industrial hygiene consulting services to clients, including conducting shop floor observations focused on identifying, assessing and risk-ranking employee exposures to injury or illness, and devising solution options aimed at mitigating injury/illness exposures.     In collaboration with Apex client relationship managers, coordinates and executes safety and industrial hygiene projects within set organizational procedures and standards.    In close routine collaboration with the external customer, implements and executes an agreed-to service plan.  Monitors and reports progress on plan completion as directed.  Works with numerous internal and external stakeholders in the interest of achieving desired overall project velocity.  Acts as an advisor to the customer on occupational safety and industrial hygiene issues.  Provides input to client relationship managers or business development staff on potential new EHS projects.    What we're looking for: Bache
