Why Join As a key member of our Global Markets team, you'll play a critical role in shaping investment strategies for our clients. You'll work closely with our portfolio managers to develop and implement asset allocation and overlay solutions that meet their unique needs. This is a challenging and rewarding role that requires a deep understanding of financial markets and a passion for delivering exceptional results. How you succeed To succeed in this role, you'll need to stay ahead of the curve in terms of market trends and developments. You'll work closely with our research team to identify opportunities and risks, and develop strategies that balance risk and return. You'll also need to build strong relationships with our portfolio managers and other stakeholders to ensure that our solutions meet their needs. What you do • Assist senior trader to oversee the global risk exposure for Global Market. • Assist senior trader to develop and implement quantitative and qualitative strategies to improve GM’s overall risk profile. • Assist senior trader in generating and execute trading strategies that consistently achieve revenue targets, leveraging market insights. • Utilize deep market knowledge to make informed decisions and capitalize on market inefficiencies. • Stay informed on global market developments, identifying trends and opportunities that may impact the trading landscape. • Lead the AARTC (Asset Allocation, Risk Taking Committee) meetings, providing comprehensive reports to keep the management team updated on key discussion topics, including performance metrics, challenges, and opportunities. • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure risk management strategies are integrated into broader business objectives. • Assist senior trader in monitoring and analysing performance metrics, adjusting strategies as necessary to optimize results Who you are • At least 2 to 5 years of experience in a similar role • Strong knowledge of financial markets, including asset classes, instruments, and investment strategies • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to think critically and creatively • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders • A proactive and adaptable approach, with the ability to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment What we offer: Competitive base salary.
