Check our website: https://www.list.lu / How will you contribute? As a Junior R&T Engineer at LIST, you will work under close supervision, performing tasks according to plans and directions. You will contribute to RDI projects, manage laboratory equipment, and develop your skills in RDI methodologies and technical instruments. Among other responsibilities, you will: ·                  In coordination with the Head of R&T Group, you will perform RDI engineering duties. ·                  Under the supervision of scientific staff, you will organise the group's laboratories and equipment, order chemicals and other materials, and introduce new group members to the team and institute's way of working ·                  Develop the ability to generate RDI results under supervision ·                  Manage the group's strain, enzyme and plasmid collection ·                  Independently perform short subprojects under general supervision of the group leader or group scientists. ·                  Document test or experiment proceedings and ensure the traceability and quality of results. ·                  Support the group in experimental tasks, especially in more routine experiments. ·                  Perform R&T tasks, under supervision when required: evaluate, select, and applytechnical methods; make critical analysis, evaluation, and synthesis of data obtained from tests/experiments; propose improvements to methods, techniques, or practices; evaluate the feasibility and effectiveness of solutions provided; explain methods, practices and procedures related to their work; explain the functioning, usage, and maintenance of specialised tools/equipment ·                  Provide support to on-going funding efforts. ·                  Assit in the dissemination, valorisation, and transfer of RDI results. Presents work results in team meetings and workshops. ·                  Organise own work, defining timelines, and interacting collaboratively with team members. ·                  Learn to use specialized tools/equipment and advanced analytical techniques or methods. ·                  Respect and apply LIST-HSE rules.
