Job Description A leading healthcare facility in the UAE is seeking a Junior Consultant / Specialist – Colon & Rectal Surgeon to join its multidisciplinary surgical team. The successful candidate will be responsible for diagnosing and treating disorders of the colon, rectum, and anus while delivering high-quality surgical care in accordance with international clinical standards. Key Responsibilities Evaluate, diagnose, and manage patients with colorectal diseases and conditions. Perform elective and emergency colorectal surgical procedures. Conduct pre-operative assessments and provide post-operative care and follow-up. Manage benign and malignant colorectal conditions, including colorectal cancers, inflammatory bowel disease, diverticular disease, anorectal disorders, and pelvic floor disorders. Collaborate with gastroenterologists, oncologists, radiologists, and other specialists to provide comprehensive patient care. Maintain accurate medical records and ensure compliance with clinical governance and patient safety standards. Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings, clinical audits, and quality improvement initiatives. Requirements MBBS or equivalent medical qualification. MS / MD / FRCS / Arab Board or equivalent postgraduate qualification in General Surgery with subspecialty training in Colorectal Surgery. Relevant clinical experience in Colon & Rectal Surgery.
