Renmoney is a microfinance bank focused on expanding access to financial services across Nigeria. We provide loans, savings, and payment solutions designed to work for everyday Nigerians. We are building a data-driven organization where insights, not assumptions, back decisions. Role Overview We are looking for a Business Analyst Intern who is passionate about data and problem-solving. In this role, you will analyze product and financial data, generate insights, and support decision-making across teams, including Product, Risk, and Finance. Key Responsibilities Dig into our product and financial data to find insights that drive real decisions (not slide decks) Build and maintain dashboards tracking MAU, Unit Economics, retention, and portfolio health Work directly with Product, Risk, and Finance teams to define and measure KPIs Support the modelling of customer cohorts, LTV, and NPL forecasting Translate messy data into clear, concise recommendations for the team Be part of the team building the analytics foundation as we scale from 40K to 3M active users Requirements Degree in a quantitative field (e.g., Economics, Statistics, Engineering, Mathematics, Computer Science) from a top university in Nigeria or South Africa Comfortable with SQL (or learning it fast), Excel, and at least one BI tool (Power BI, Tableau, Looker) Can explain a complex analysis to a non-technical stakeholder in plain English Detail-obsessed but know when to ship a "good enough" answer versus waiting for perfect Think in systems, you naturally ask "why?" two or three levels deeper than most people Fast and Deep thinker with an experience in the oil and gas sector within the petroleum engineering, geophysics, reservoir modelling, and production economic path Benefits Competitive salary aligned with the fintech market Exposure to senior leadership and cross-functional teams Clear growth path into senior roles within 12–18 months Opportunity to work on products impacting thousands of users Collaborative, high-performance team environment
