Description
2 Open China Ecommerce (part of Thinkia Group) helps international brands scale in China through marketplaces and social commerce. We’re looking for a hands-on Junior Account Manager based in Shanghai to support marketplace operations (Tmall/天猫, JD/京东), Douyin/抖音 & Xiaohongshu/小红书, campaign execution and client reporting. Tasks • Manage day-to-day operations of client storefronts on Chinese marketplaces (Tmall, JD) and social platforms (Douyin, Xiaohongshu). • Optimize product listings (copy, keywords, A+ pages) and monitor pricing, promotions and stock. • Execute and monitor performance campaigns (DSP, P4P, Douyin ads), track KPIs and suggest improvements. • Coordinate logistics, cross-border shipments and local fulfillment partners. • Prepare weekly/monthly performance reports and present insights to clients. • Liaise with creative, customer service and influencer teams to implement local activations. • Assist in onboarding new clients and maintaining client communication. Requirements • 1–3 years experience in e-commerce or marketplace operations (China experience required). • Practical experience with at least one Chinese marketplace (Tmall/JD/Douyin/Xiaohongshu). • Mandarin fluent (spoken & written) and professional English. • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent; strong Excel skills; familiarity with analytics tools (Power BI / Google Analytics / basic SQL a plus). • Knowledge of local payments (WeChat Pay/Alipay) and cross-border logistics. • Based in Shanghai with valid work permit / right to work in China. • Organized, client-facing, able to manage multiple projects under tight deadlines. Benefits • Local employment contract, RMB 10,000 + performance bonus. • Social insurance, paid leave and visa/relocation support where applicable. • Professional development, training on Chinese marketplaces and progression to Account Manager. • International team, hybrid office in Shanghai and scope to work on global brands. Join a small, ambitious team helping global brands succeed in China — if you’re curious, proactive and native Mandarin speaker, you’ll fit right in.
