Position Summary The Journeyman Welder is responsible for performing high-quality welding and fabrication of piping systems and structural components for commercial and industrial mechanical projects. This role works independently or as part of a crew to ensure installations meet all codes, specifications, and company standards for safety and quality. Essential Duties and Responsibilities • Perform SMAW, GTAW (TIG), and GMAW welding on carbon steel, stainless steel, and alloy piping • Read and interpret blueprints, isometric drawings, and welding procedures • Fabricate, assemble, and install piping systems • Inspect welds to ensure compliance with codes and project specifications • Maintain welding equipment and ensure proper setup and operation • Follow all OSHA and company safety standards • Coordinate with pipefitters, foremen, and supervisors on jobsite activities Qualifications • Minimum 4 years of commercial or industrial welding experience • Ability to pass required weld tests (X-ray quality preferred) • Strong knowledge of welding techniques, materials, and procedures • Ability to read and interpret blueprints and specifications • OSHA 10 certification preferred • Valid driver’s license We Are Proud to Offer Our Team Members • Competitive pay based on experience • Medical, Vision, and Dental insurance • Paid holidays and generous PTO (2 weeks after 90 days, up to 5 weeks) • 401(k) Plan with company investment options • Training and professional development programs • Company‑paid Employee Assistance Program • Employee discount programs • Company‑paid and voluntary life insurance and AD&D insurance • Company‑paid short‑term disability and voluntary long‑term disability insurance • Health Savings Account with company contributions • Vehicle purchase discount programs Disclaimer The above statements are intended to describe the general nature and level of work being performed by employees assigned to this job.
