Esposito's Electric, a well-established and local electrical contractor, is seeking a skilled and reliable Journeyman Electrician to join our growing team. We handle a diverse range of projects, including commercial, industrial, and residential work, offering significant opportunities for professional growth. We are looking for a dedicated team player who takes pride in their work and is committed to delivering exceptional quality and service. Key Responsibilities: • Install, maintain, and repair electrical systems, wiring, and equipment in residential, commercial, and/or industrial settings. • Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical diagrams to determine the layout of electrical systems. • Diagnose and troubleshoot electrical issues and perform effective repairs. • Ensure all work is performed in strict accordance with National Electrical Code (NEC) and all applicable local and state codes. • Respond to after-hours emergency calls as required by the on-call schedule. • Maintain a clean and organized work environment and ensure proper care and use of company tools and equipment. • Communicate professionally and effectively with clients, colleagues, and project managers. Qualifications: • Minimum of 5 years of verifiable field experience in residential, commercial, or industrial electrical work. • Valid New Jersey Journeyman Electrician license is required. • Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record. A CDL license is a plus. • Must be able to pass a drug screening and criminal background check. • Strong problem-solving skills and a solid understanding of electrical principles and theory. • A “team-player” attitude with a commitment to safety and quality workmanship.
