Job Responsibilities The Electrician is responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing electrical systems in a manufacturing environment in accordance with local and national codes. • Install, maintain, and repair electrical wiring, systems, and fixtures. • Read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and electrical schematics • Install conduit (EMT, Rigid, PVC), wiring, panels, lighting, and electrical devices • Troubleshoot electrical systems and components to identify and resolve issues • Ensure all installations are compliant with the NEC (National Electrical Code) and local building codes • Perform routine maintenance on electrical systems and components • Adhere strictly to OSHA and company safety standards • Assist in maintaining electrical parts stocking levels to ensure proper parts are on hand. Requirements & Qualifications • Valid TDLR Journeyman Electrician license (TDLR - Texas Department of Licensing and Regulation) or better • 3+ years of commercial electrical experience • Strong knowledge of the National Electrical Code (NEC) • Must have and maintain a valid driver’s license • Must be able to operate mobile equipment (aerial lifts, scissor lift, boom lift, etc.) • Ability to troubleshoot electrical systems and perform quality installations • Ability to work in outdoor environments • Computer literate: Microsoft Applications and CMMS software • Strong manufacturing knowledge and understanding of the procurement/supply chain process Koppers Inc. and its subsidiaries are equal opportunity employers.
