Description Journeyman Electrician – PWADC Piggly Wiggly Alabama Distributing Company is looking for an experienced Journeyman Electrician to join our maintenance team. This role is ideal for someone with strong hands-on electrical experience in an industrial, warehouse, manufacturing, or distribution environment. We are looking for a dependable electrician who can troubleshoot, repair, and maintain electrical systems across our facility while supporting daily operations and keeping equipment running safely and efficiently. Responsibilities include: • Troubleshooting and repairing electrical issues on warehouse and facility equipment • Performing preventive maintenance on electrical systems, panels, motors, lighting, and related components • Reading and interpreting electrical diagrams, schematics, and blueprints • Supporting maintenance projects, upgrades, and equipment installations • Ensuring all work is completed safely and in compliance with electrical codes • Working closely with the maintenance team to reduce downtime and improve facility operations Requirements Ideal candidate: • Holds a Journeyman Electrician card/license • Has several years of electrical experience, preferably in an industrial or commercial setting • Is confident troubleshooting electrical systems independently • Understands code compliance and safe work practices • Is dependable, detail-oriented, and able to work in a fast-paced environment • Is open to pursuing or obtaining a Master Electrician card/license in the future Preferred but not required: • Experience with warehouse equipment, conveyors, motors, controls, or facility maintenance • Interest in long-term growth with the company • Willingness to continue advancing certifications and licensing PWADC is looking for someone who brings experience, professionalism, and a strong work ethic to the team.
