Together, we provide comprehensive, compassionate care for people with life-limiting conditions, and their loved ones. We support people with a range of illnesses and symptoms, helping them to live as well as possible, and making sure they get the specialist care they need in the last stages of life. As well as round-the-clock inpatient care at Duchess of Kent Hospice and specialist beds at Wallingford community hospital, we also support people in the place they often feel most comfortable: at home. Expanding our services Sue Ryder has been awarded a major, long-term NHS contract to grow its compassionate palliative and end-of-life care services across Reading, Wokingham, Newbury and South Oxfordshire. This means we’re recruiting a number of new staff to join us, including Senior Healthcare Assistants for our growing Hospice at Home service in the South East.
