We are looking for an IT Systems Lead with expertise in DevOps and cloud infrastructure (primarily Microsoft Azure and AWS) to join our team. In this role, you will play a critical part in ensuring the reliability, scalability, and security of our IT infrastructure while providing exceptional support to our internal teams.
Key Responsibilities:
As an IT Systems Lead at Cyntegrity, you will:
• Manage IT Systems: Oversee the deployment, monitoring, and maintenance of cloud-based infrastructure and solutions, primarily within Microsoft Azure and partially AWS environments.
• Implement DevOps Practices: Design, implement, and optimize CI/CD pipelines and infrastructure as code (IaC) to streamline development and operations.
• Provide IT Support: Manage and resolve IT ticket requests from internal stakeholders, ensuring timely and effective solutions.
• Ensure Compliance: Maintain IT systems in compliance with relevant regulations, including GDPR and Data Protection Act.
• Optimize Performance: Continuously improve the reliability, scalability, and security of IT systems.
• Collaborate Across Teams: Work closely with the Chief Executive Officer (CEO) and other departments to align IT strategies with business goals.
Essential Criteria:
We’re seeking a proactive, detail-oriented, and collaborative IT professional with the following qualifications:
Education:
• Bachelor’s degree in IT, Computer Science, or a related field.
Experience:
• 5-7 years of proven experience in DevOps practices.
• Hands-on experience with Microsoft Azure and Amazon Web Services (AWS).
• Strong experience in managing IT ticket requests and providing end-user support.
Skills:
• Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills.
• Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks effectively.
Knowledge:
• Deep understanding of cloud infrastructure, including Azure and/or AWS ecosystems, and modern DevOps tooling.
• Familiarity with IT service management (ITSM) and ticketing systems.
• Understanding of data protection regulations (e.g., GDPR, Data Protection Act).
• Certifications: Relevant certifications in Azure (e.g., Microsoft Certified: Azure Solutions Architect Expert) and DevOps (e.g., Azure DevOps Engineer Expert) are a plus.
