Description
Atlas Energy Solutions is a leading energy industry solutions provider operating across oilfield logistics, distributed power systems, and proppant supply. The IT Systems Administrator will support manufacturing operations at Kermit and Monahans locations, managing IT infrastructure, servers, virtualization, storage, and networked systems in a fast-paced environment. What You'll Do • Diagnose and maintain full functionality of computers interfacing with factory equipment, process controls, monitoring, and automation systems • Provide desktop support to local and remote office staff across multiple geographic locations • Administer production Windows Server operating systems in on-premise, remote, and cloud environments including Office 365 and Azure • Manage virtualization software such as VMware or Hyper-V and shared storage environments including DAS, NAS, and SAN devices • Deploy and optimize IT infrastructure across multiple locations including Exchange email administration, Active Directory administration, ERP, Business Intelligence systems, and web presence • Administer LAN/WAN networking products including routers, switches, firewalls, and VPNs • Write scripts and develop programmatic optimizations for repeated administrative processes in Linux and Windows environments • Mentor and train team members on IT systems and processes What You Need • Minimum two years of real-world experience with desktop support and administering production servers • Windows Server and desktop support expertise • Demonstrated experience administering production Windows Server operating systems in on-premise, remote, and cloud environments • Demonstrated experience administering virtualization software such as VMware or Hyper-V • Experience administering shared storage environments such as DAS, NAS, and SAN devices from vendors such as HP, Dell, Network Appliance, and EMC • Ability to work in a manufacturing environment both indoors and outdoors • High school diploma or AAS in a technical field such as Computer Science (substantial experience in related functions may substitute) • Ability to multitask efficiently in a high-energy office and work flexible hours with on-call responsibilities • Strong verbal and written communication skills in English • General aptitude for scripting and programmatic optimization in Linux and Windows environments Nice to Have • Familiarity with installation and operation of open-source software such as Linux, Apache, PHP, and others • Mentoring and training skills 100% covered Medical, Dental, and Vision; 401K with company match and immediate vesting; Paid time off (non-rotational roles), 15+ company paid holidays
