Principal IT Recruitment Consultant – Galway HERO Recruitment is hiring a Principal IT Recruitment Consultant to join our award-winning team. We are a multi-award-winning agency, most recently named “Agency of the Year 2024” by the Employment & Recruitment Federation of Ireland (ERF). We're looking for a seasoned IT recruitment professional with a deep understanding of the Irish technology market and an extensive network of clients and candidates. This person will play a key role in developing new business, account managing key clients, and strategically sourcing and placing top tech talent. This role is based in our Galway office with a hybrid working option. You'll be joining a collaborative, high-performing culture where your impact is visible and rewarded. What we’re looking for: • A Principal-level IT Recruitment Consultant with a strong track record in the Irish market, including longstanding relationships with both clients and candidates. • Someone with extensive experience in 360 recruitment, including talent delivery, new business development, and key account management. • Experience placing professionals across areas such as software development, infrastructure, cloud, cybersecurity, data, and digital transformation. • A confident business developer who can generate new opportunities, engage HR, hiring managers, and consult strategically to offer tailored recruitment solutions. • A relationship builder who thrives in senior-level IT recruitment and understands the unique hiring dynamics within Ireland’s tech ecosystem. • Strong commercial instincts and a history of consistently exceeding targets in a performance-driven environment. • Experience onboarding new clients and building long-term partnerships in the tech industry. • Someone who enjoys working both autonomously and collaboratively in a fast-paced, supportive environment. • Tech-savvy and creative in candidate sourcing, using a combination of digital tools, referrals, and market mapping.
