The heart of the role
• Sourcing Strategy & Execution
• Develop and implement IT procurement strategies to optimize cost and quality.
•
• Manage the procurement process end-to-end, including RFPs/RFQs and supplier inquiries.
•
• Negotiate contracts and pricing with suppliers to secure favorable commercial terms.
•
• Utilize AI-driven tools to streamline the tendering process, from specification analysis to supplier selection.
•
• Conduct demand and market analysis, assessing available solutions and comparing vendors against business needs and budget.
• Supplier & Contract Management
• Research and evaluate potential IT suppliers based on capabilities, pricing, and reliability.
•
• Build and maintain strong relationships with key IT suppliers and internal stakeholders.
•
• Coordinate supplier onboarding and maintain up-to-date supplier information in the system.
•
• Support contract management activities, including authoring, storage, renewals, and analysis in the contract lifecycle system.
• Stakeholder Collaboration & Reporting
• Collaborate with stakeholders to align IT sourcing activities with business objectives and requirements.
•
• Coordinate the sign-off process for IT sourcing using the company's e-signature systems.
•
• Track sourcing activities and prepare reports on procurement status, supplier performance, and cost savings to management.
What makes you beat
• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Information Technology, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.
• 2-3 years of experience in procurement or sourcing, preferably with exposure to IT or technology categories.
• Understanding of procurement and contracting processes; familiarity with IT products, licensing models, and services is an advantage.
• Strong communication and negotiation skills, with a customer-centric approach to stakeholder interactions.
• Problem-solving skills and a growth mindset.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced and changing environment.
• Proficiency in English; understanding of German is an advantage.
• Good understanding of AI-supported procurement tools is a plus ; experience with SAP, AEGIS/Ivalua, or similar platforms is an advantage.
