Job Title: IT Operations and Governance Assistant
Reports to: Chief Information and Digital Officer
ROLE OVERVIEW
This is an exciting opportunity for an individual to grow their career in IT Operations and Governance. As the IT Operations and Governance Assistant, you will play a pivotal role in supporting the relevant IT teams by enhancing the efficiency and effectiveness of internal IT services. Your duties will initially focus on business system support and asset management, providing a foundation for growth across various IT domains. We are looking for a proactive, detail-oriented and driven professional who thrives in dynamic situations and can maintain high performance under pressure.
Key measurements
· Response and resolution times in line with SLAs.
· Internal user satisfaction levels.
· Successful delivery and ensuring completion of systems, security, and other training by users.
· Successful delivery of business system configurations, upgrades, evaluations, implementations and/or integrations
· Accuracy and control of asset management.
· Accuracy of quality assurance reporting.
Responsibilities
These will include, but are not limited to assistance with the following:
IT Operations
· Business systems support, in line with our SLAs.
· Business systems training, including weekly sessions.
· Business systems configurations, upgrades, evaluations, implementations and/or integrations.
· Adherence to security measures as set out by standards such as ISO/IEC 27001:2022.
· Collation, review and updating of system information content.
· Collaboration with external vendors and service providers as required.
IT Governance
· Asset management, including maintaining asset register, asset tracking, asset transfers, asset collection, asset transport, return of assets, asset location and related employee information.
· Governance, compliance and/or cybersecurity tasks and processes.
· Audit related tasks and processes.
· Quality assurance reporting, including monthly data quality and consistency checks.
Continuously assess own performance, seek timely and clear feedback and request training where appropriate and needed.
Knowledge and skills
· Microsoft 365 knowledge would be an advantage.
· HR (BambooHR ideally) and/or Timesheet (Replicon ideally) system knowledge would be an advantage.
· ISO/IEC 27001:2022 knowledge would be an advantage.
· Computer literacy including Microsoft Office at an intermediate level or above.
· Written and verbal communication.
· Time Management.
Minimum education
· A relevant diploma, bachelor's degree or above is preferred, but not a must.
· Relevant training and certification would be an advantage.
Minimum experience
· 1-2 years minimum of business systems support experience.
· Business system configuration, upgrades, evaluations, implementations and/or integration experience would be an advantage.
· Asset management experience would be an advantage.
· Auditing experience would be an advantage.
· AI tool (Copilot, ChatGPT etc.) experience would be an advantage.
