Our flagship product, Nipper, empowers elite cyber teams to gain real time insight into network change, proactively respond to threats and avoid operational disruption. Our internal IT function underpins this mission. We are now growing our infrastructure capability to support our people, systems and global operations. Main Purpose of the Job The IT Infrastructure Engineer ensures that our internal platforms are robust, scalable and secure. You will oversee the design, build, maintenance and optimisation of our core estate including Azure services, Microsoft 365, networking, servers, storage, monitoring and disaster recovery. You will also look after the full Microsoft 365 suite, including Exchange Online, SharePoint, Teams, compliance tooling, device management in Intune and Conditional Access. This is a hands on role for someone who enjoys solving problems across infrastructure, cloud platforms and user technology. Key Responsibilities Infrastructure Design and Delivery • Design, implement and manage Azure services that support our operational and security needs • Maintain and improve Windows and Linux server environments, virtualisation platforms and hybrid cloud architecture • Ensure network stability and performance across routing, switching, firewalls and remote connectivity Microsoft 365 and Identity Management • Own the full Microsoft 365 suite including Exchange Online, SharePoint, Teams, compliance centre and information governance • Manage Intune device enrolment, baselines, configuration profiles and app deployments • Maintain Conditional Access policies, identity lifecycle processes and integrations with internal systems Endpoint Management and Security • Ensure all laptops and endpoints are compliant with security baselines for patching, malware protection and configuration hardening • Oversee monitoring, alerting and remediation of endpoint issues such as vulnerability findings or antivirus events • Maintain backup, disaster recovery and business continuity processes for key systems Operational Assurance • Monitor performance, capacity and availability across infrastructure and cloud services • Investigate and resolve complex incidents, working closely with the security and product teams • Maintain clear documentation, runbooks and operational processes to support continuity and improvement Skills and Experience Essential • Proven experience supporting and improving enterprise infrastructure environments • Strong knowledge of Azure administration and hybrid identity • Deep experience managing Microsoft 365 including Exchange Online, SharePoint, Teams, Intune and Conditional Access • Experience administering Windows Server, virtualisation platforms and networking • Knowledge of patching, endpoint protection and configuration hardening • Ability to diagnose complex issues and document solutions clearly Desirable • Experience working in a software or SaaS organisation • Awareness of cyber security frameworks and controls • Familiarity with backup platforms, monitoring tools and IT service management practices • Certifications such as AZ 104, MS 102, CCNA or equivalent Job Details Employment Type: Full-time - 37.5 hours Workplace Type: Remote Department:
