Permanent Our Client, an International Online Wealth Management platform is seeking an experienced Operations Manager to lead a high-performing Investment Operations function within the financial services environment. You will work closely with senior stakeholders across the business, to ensure operational efficiency, regulatory compliance, and outstanding service delivery for clients and advisers. Key Responsibilities • Lead and develop Investment Operations and Reconciliations teams • Oversee the end-to-end investment operations process, including trading, settlements, asset maintenance and cash management • Ensure operational controls are robust, scalable and compliant with regulatory requirements • Provide oversight of reconciliation activities, client asset controls and operational risk management • Monitor service performance through KPIs and identifying opportunities to improve efficiency and client outcomes • Act as the senior escalation point for operational issues, ensuring effective resolution and root cause analysis • Build strong relationships with internal stakeholders • Support strategic initiatives including product launches, process transformation, automation and operational improvement projects • Contribute to governance forums, providing operational insight and supporting effective decision-making About You • Experience in investment or platform operations, custody, wealth management or financial services • A solid understanding of regulatory requirements, operational risk and client asset governance • Collaborative leader with excellent communication skills • Experience leading managers and developing high-performing teams • Strong analytical capability with experience using management information to drive performance • Advanced Excel and data analysis skills • Professional financial services qualifications (CISI or equivalent) are desirable but not essential • Familiarity with investment platforms, CRM systems and change methodologies such as Agile, PRINCE2 or Lean Six Sigma This is an excellent opportunity to join a forward-thinking financial services organisation where you’ll play a key role in shaping the future of investment operations and delivering meaningful business improvements.
