Description
Join a robust, clinically oriented, private practice IR team as part of a 16-member physician-owned radiology practice at Concord Hospital in beautiful central New Hampshire servicing due to growing volumes and partner retirements. Intent of 3-4 IR attendings. This is a high-end IR group with a broad practice including strong, collaborative relationships with our partners in oncology, surgery, vascular surgery, urology, GI/liver, ortho and neurological services, among others. Unique opportunities including spyglass gallstone removal program, fully supported outpatient IR clinic including a busy vein practice, and MMA and epistaxis embolization (if interested) in the setting of a growth minded group supportive of new service lines. We host senior IR residents from Dartmouth 4 months per year providing opportunity for a rewarding teaching experience. We have IR PAs to support inpatient rounding and consults and lighter IR procedures. This is a 60-80% IR practice with balance spent in diagnostic reading.
General position/group information:
Provide comprehensive IR services to the Concord Hospital system, comprising three community hospitals, and a broad referral base from regional hospitals. IR attendings only practice at the main Concord Hospital, a level II trauma center. IR call is shared equally with 3-4 IR attendings in the group and moonlighters to assist with some weekend coverage as needed.
Partner-track position within XPA radiology group servicing Concord Hospital system.
-Diagnostic shifts include modest volumes with a strong emphasis on quality. Most shifts average roughly 65-70 wRVU (70-80 total case range with 30-35 cross-sectional). May read to your strengths from open lists.-Compensation ranging $550-900K. -Two years to partnership. Partners hold a substantial ownership stake in a highly profitable outpatient imaging center, ensuring autonomy in daily operations, long-term financial stability, and a strong partnership with the hospital system.
-Equal vacation and call responsibilities from the start. Partners currently average 10-12 full weeks of vacation yearly plus numerous additional days off (including post-call weekend days off).
-Overnight teleradiology coverage from 7pm-6am weekdays. IR attendings do not participate in weekend diagnostic call.
