Working alongside the wider legal team, you will provide day-to-day legal support across the EMEA and Middle East region, including:

We're partnering with a growing international business to recruit an experienced Interim Legal Counsel to support its expanding Middle East operations. Reporting to the Head of Legal, this role will work closely with regional legal colleagues and provide hands-on legal support across a broad range of commercial and corporate matters.

Description
Working alongside the wider legal team, you will provide day-to-day legal support across the EMEA and Middle East region, including:
• Drafting, reviewing and negotiating a wide range of commercial agreements, including sales, supply chain and procurement contracts
• Supporting bids, tenders and public procurement activity
• Assisting with corporate governance and company secretarial matters across multiple jurisdictions
• Managing legal matters relating to existing entities and supporting new entity set-up projects where required
• Liaising with external legal advisers across the region
• Providing practical, commercially focused legal advice to internal stakeholders
• Supporting the Head of Legal and wider legal team with a broad range of ad hoc legal projects and reactive business matters
Profile
• Qualified Solicitor or equivalent legal qualification preferred
• Strong general commercial contracts experience gained in-house or in private practice
• Exposure to corporate governance and company secretarial matters
• Experience supporting bids, tenders and public procurement activity would be highly advantageous
• Previous experience working with Middle Eastern jurisdictions is desirable but not essential
• Arabic language skills would be beneficial but are not a requirement
• The confidence to work independently and manage matters with minimal supervision
• Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills
