Description
This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced Food & Beverage Manager to lead the setup and launch of a new premium hospitality operation within a dynamic sports and leisure venue. The role offers a competitive salary, according to experience and provides the chance to make a tangible impact on a growing organisation, bringing innovative F&B solutions to life and shaping the customer experience from the outset. You will be a hands-on leader who focuses on strategic planning, and operational excellence. Working in partnership with the General Manager, this is an exciting project for a creative and insightful hospitality professional. Key responsibilities: • Develop and refine the F&B strategy to align with the club’s vision and customer needs. • Design, implement, and launch the entire food and beverage operation from the ground up. • Establish supplier relationships, negotiate commercial terms, and manage procurement processes. • Create operational procedures, stock control systems, and safety compliance frameworks. • Develop menus and pricing structures that are both appealing and operationally simple to execute. • Design staffing structures, support recruitment, and develop training materials to ensure team readiness. • Implement operational systems, including opening, closing, and daily procedures, alongside reporting and KPI dashboards. • Lead the launch phase, ensuring all systems, processes, and people are fully prepared for trading. • Ensure smooth handover to permanent management with complete operational documentation and training manuals. About you: • Extensive experience in hospitality mobilisation, openings, or F&B operations. • Proven track record in developing and launching successful food and beverage programmes. • Strong project management skills with the ability to coordinate multiple stakeholders and deliver on deadlines. • Knowledge of menu development, food costing, stock control, and operational systems. • Experience in supplier sourcing, procurement, and contract negotiation. • Demonstrated ability to develop and train teams, fostering a multi-skilled operational environment. • Commercial acumen with a focus on financial management, sales targets, and margin optimisation. • Excellent communication skills, capable of making strategic recommendations and practical implementations.
