Contract: Temporary Client: Castlefield are currently recruiting an interim Category Manager to join a Public Sector organisation in Liverpool. This is an initial 3 month opportunity with strong possibility of extension. Role: • Leading on works procurement projects • Deliver value for money on procurement projects • Agree and manage contracts in line with the organisation’s procedures and Public Sector regulations • Create procurement strategies within your assigned category • Manage supplier relationships and support stakeholders • Identify appropriate routes to market and develop specifications alongside subject matter experts • Work in collaboration with other relevant organisations • Contribute to the delivery of the organisations strategic plan • Provide sound procurement advice and guidance Person: • MCIPS or equivalent level of relevant experience • Public Sector procurement experience • Stakeholder management • PA2023 desirable and PCR2015 essential • JCT contract knowledge Thank you!
