We are currently seeking Integrated Photonic Circuit (PIC) Engineer to join one of our clients ' teams. pioneering the Quantum Communications industry, delivering photonics solutions that leverage the properties of quantum physics to secure communications If you're looking for an exciting opportunity to grow in a innovative environment, this could be the perfect fit for you Key Responsibilities Engage in R&D focused on photonic integration for quantum key distribution. Participate in leading European projects within the field. Collaborate with software, hardware, and production teams to develop cutting-edge products. Contribute to technical decisions that shape our product roadmap. Conduct hands-on characterization of PICs and supervise these processes. Play a key role in defining and executing activities related to PIC packaging, system manufacturing, testing, and product development. Experience in photonic integrated circuits, with work in areas such as design, characterization, fabrication processes, or packaging, and a broad understanding of the different platforms and the steps involved in developing PIC-based products. Industrial experience in the development of PIC-based products is desirable. High proficiency in English (minimum fluent B2/C1 level). Highly proactive, with strong analytical and communication skills. Engineering degree in Telecommunications, Microelectronics/RF, Optics/Photonics, Physics, or a related field
